Modello S/EP4 7 TROUBLE SHOOTING 7.1 THERE
IS NO STEAM ISSUE ·
The
steaming solenoid valve (tav. 20 - ref. 5) or only the coil (tav. 24A - ref. 3) is faulty : replace the
faulty part. ·
The
pedal microswitch (tav.
25/29A - ref. 14) or the
button (tav. 27 - ref. 7) is faulty : replace.. ·
The
steam timer (tav. 30/30B - ref. 51) is faulty: replace if the machine
is so equipped. 7.2 THE VACUUM DOES NOT START ·
Motor
of built-in vacuum ( when the machine is so equipped) is burnt out (tav. 31 -
ref. 2): replace or re-wind. ·
The
cover of the bottom buck (tav. 18 - 19) is blocked : replace. ·
Should
the machine be fitted with a vacuum timer (Tav 30/30B - ref. 51),
this may be faulty : replace. ·
Fuse
burnt out : replace. ·
Contactor
coil ( tav. 30¸30C -
ref. 14) burnt out : replace. ·
Pedal
microswitch ( tav. 25¸29C -
ref. 10) faulty : replace. ·
Switch
(tav. 30¸30C - ref. 21) faulty : replace. 7.3 THE VACUUM TURNS BUT VACUUM IS INSUFFICIENT ·
The
table cover ( tav. 18 - 19) is obstructed : replace ·
The
vacuum fan ( tav. 31 - ref. 3) is dirty : clean. 7.4 THE
TOP BUCK DOES NOT CLOSE ·
Disactivate
the block on the top buck, by means of the button (tav. 07/B - ref.
5). ·
Lack
of air in the machine at 6 bar pressure. Check on the pressure gauge
(tav. 01 - ref. 13). ·
No
air goes through the closing
valve positioned below the button (tav. 07 - ref. 1 and 2, 2 button
version) or no air goes through the valve positioned above the pedal
(tav. 07 - ref. 1, in version with lowering by pedal and safety
guard) : replace the faulty part. ·
The
AND component does not work (tav. 25¸29C - ref. 12): replace. ·
The
closing timer if the machine is so equipped(tav. 30/30B - ref. 51)
is faulty: replace. 7.5 THE TOP BUCK DOES NOT OPEN ·
No
air is discharged from the opening button: replace the faulty part (tav. 07 - ref. 2/6). ·
The
amplified valve positioned at the air inlet of the cylinder does
not open (tav. 25¸29C - ref. 8): replace. 7.6 THE TOP BUCK OPENS SLOWLY - REGULATION ·
The
amplified valve positioned on the air inlet of the cylinder does
not open (tav. 25¸29C - ref. 8): replace. ·
To
adjust the closing speed
of the top buck, the screw “A”
of the shock absorber should be turned
(tav. 17A - ref. 7) in the clockwise direction to reduce
and in the anti-clockwise direction to increase. ·
To
regulate the speed of ascent
of the top buck, the screw “B”
of the shock sbsorber should be turned
(tav. 17A - ref. 7) in the clockwise direction to reduce
and in the anti-clockwise direction to increase. 7.7 TOO
MUCH WATER ENTERS THE BOILER ·
The
level control (tav. 20 - ref. 7) is faulty : replace the entire
component or the mercury bulb (tav. 20 - ref. 8). ·
The
level control is not perfectly regulated: re-set by means of the
regulation shaft. ·
The
floater ball of the level control (tav. 20 - ref. 12) is damaged
or weighed down by calcareous deposits: clean or replace. ·
Feed
solenoid valve (tav. 20 - ref. 2) is faulty. Dismantle and check
that there is no dirt in the small piston. Re-assemble the solenoid
valve and control the coil: if it is burnt out, replace it.
7.8 THE ELEMENTS ARE ACTIVATED BUT THE BOILER
DOES NOT REACH PRESSURE LEVEL ·
The
heating elements (tav. 20
- ref. 19) are cut out and no power is getting through : replace.
·
The
circuit elements is cutout: check the circuit and re-connect.. 7.9 THE
ELEMENTS ARE NOT ACTIVATED ·
The
pressure switch (tav. 11 - ref. 8) is faulty : replace ·
The
contactor coil (tav. 30/30C - ref. 13) is burnt out : replace. ·
The
level control (tav. 20 - ref. 7) is faulty : replace the entire
component or the mercury bulb which activates the element. ·
The
electric circuit of the element is cutout: check the circuit and
re-connect. ·
Fuse
burnt out : replace 7.10 THE PRESSURE IN THE BOILER REACHES TOO HIGH
OR TOO LOW VALUES ·
The
pressure switch (tav. 20 - ref. 6) is not correctly regulated: regulate correctly by screwing/unscrewing the
regulation screw to increase/decrease pressure. ·
The
pressure switch is faulty : replace. 7.11 THE SAFETY VALVE OPENS ·
Pressure
switch (tav. 20 - ref. 6) set at too high values: lower the set
pressure see 7.9 ·
Pressure
switch is faulty: replace. 7.12 THE PUMP DOES NOT START ·
The
level control (tav. 20 - ref. 7) is faulty: replace the entire component
or the mercury bulb (tav.
20 - ref. 8) which activates the pump. ·
The
electric circuit of the pump is cutout: check and re-connect. ·
The
pump condenser (tav. 22 - ref. 7) is faulty: replace ·
The
electric winding of the pump is cutout : if possible re-connect
or re-wind . ·
The
pump is blocked: unblock by using a screwdriver on the rear of the motor on the cooling fan. ·
Fuse
burnt out: replace 7.13 THE PUMP TURNS BUT NO WATER GOES INTO THE
BOILER ·
The water solenoid valve (tav. 20 - ref. 2) or
only the coil (tav. 23 -
ref. 3) is faulty : replace the damaged part. ·
There
is air in the pump fan housing : partially unscrew the cap positioned
near the water outlet pipe, let out all the air and screw up again.
·
The
check valve (tav. 20 - ref. 3) is blocked: some light taps on the
valve can re-establish functioning,
if this is not sufficient dismantle and clean.
